KENT PIETSCH is a native of Minot, ND. He soloed at the age of 16 and began flying charter for the family business, Pietsch Flying Service. He began flying Air Shows with his father, Al Pietsch, in 1974. Currently, Kent is a retired captain for Northwest Airlines. He holds an ATP and has accumulated over 25,000 hours.

Kent flies a comedy act which includes extreme and surprising maneuvers. In addition, Kent performs a "dead stick" (total power off), aerobatic routine from an altitude of 6000 feet. The finale of this performance includes Kent landing in front of the crowd and placing the spinner of the prop into the hand of a pre-selected individual! Kent has recently added an exciting & crowd pleasing act to his show. He lands his Interstate Cadet on the top of a 30 foot RV! He then takes off from the RV. It is great entertainment for all.
